World Languages and Culture Department in collaboration with Western New York Coalition of Farmworker Serving Agencies and its partners, extend an invitation to join us for a Family Preparedness Clinic in Downtown Campus. 

This event offers vital services to help immigrant families prepare for emergencies, including legal consultations with immigration attorneys, "Know Your Rights" workshops, and preparation of Family Preparedness Documents.

Event Details

  • When: Thursday, December 19, 2024
  • Time: 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM
  • Where: MCC's Downtown Campus, 321 State St., Rochester, NY 14608 (3rd Floor)

Event Highlights

  1. "Know Your Rights" Workshops
    • Scheduled at 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 6:00 PM.
    • Encourage families to arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled session.
  2. Legal Consultations
    • Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with immigration attorneys.
    • Families should bring relevant immigration-related documents, such as Notices to Appear, 797C Notices, or copies of petitions filed.

  • Volunteer: We need volunteers for childcare, ushering, and translation services! Let us know if your agency is able to help.
